Junior Infants have been very busy the past few weeks learning how to use the beebots. Beebots are award winning programmable floor robots , perfect for teaching control, directional language , programming, estimation and problem solving to young children. They are colourful, easy to operate and fun to use. Directional keys are used to enter the command which sends the beebot forward, backward, to the left or to the right. Pressing the green button sends the beebot on his way. The beebot blinks and beeps when he is finished which allows the children to follow the beebot through the command they have entered. Junior Infants have been using the beebots to help learn their words for their reader and for their tricky words. Look at the fun they have been having.
