Well done to all the children who came to school in their Halloween costumes today. Thank you to all parents for making such a big effort and for sending in donations for the Children’s Health Foundation. Our teachers went all out for Halloween this year, dressing up as Minions — with one very convincing Gru leading the way! We will send an update of money collected after it has been counted. We wish all our families a safe and enjoyable mid-term break.

Each class were on stage performing Halloween-themed amhráin, dánta agus raps!  Go raibh maith agat do gach rang who performed and to all the múinteoirí for preparing the children. Buíochas mór do Ms. Mooney who organised the Ceolchoirm. We are delighted to continue to promote the use of Gaeilge outside of regular Irish classes and are participating in the Gaelbhratach Irish language recognition scheme this year. We are hoping to be awarded a Gaelbhratach flag if we fulfil all the criteria and reach a certain standard.
