For ‘Book Week’ in Room 20 we visited Ashbourne Library to meet and listen to Marita Conlon Mckenna speak about her experiences as an author and her books. She answered our questions, signed our books and book marks as well.

Our Community reader read the story of the “Melon Donkey” to us. We participated in a Book swap with Ms. Garry’s 6th class.

We also wrote our own stories so we could read them to Miss Nic Aoidh’s Junior Infants in Room 14. Here are some pictures of us reading to the Junior Infants.
