GOOD LUCK
Good luck to the Meath Ladies All Ireland Intermediate Finalists 2019 who take on Tipperary in the All Ireland in Croke Park this Sunday the 15th of September at 1 45pm. Four of the girls on the team play with our local Donaghmore Ashbourne club so we will be well represented on the day. In St. Declan’s sport plays a huge part in the daily lives of our children. GAA is promoted by all teachers in the school and we have an active participation in leauges and competitions throuughout the year. Mr Farrell co-ordinates all sporting activities in St. Declan’s and we are indebted to him and all other teachers in the school who coach classes for all types of sport on a voluntary basis.
The Meath ladies will be leaving from Donaghmore Ashbourne to head to Croke Park on Sunday morning as the captain of the team Maire O’Shaughnessy plays for the club. She is joined from Donaghmore Ashbourne by her sister Catriona and also Siofra and Aoibheann Cleary. The team will be returning to the club house after the match on Sunday and let’s hope it will be a successful trip to Croke Park.
FROM ALL IN ST. DECLAN’S THE VERY BEST OF LUCK !!!.
