This year we have started preparing for our next An Taisce Green Schools flag. The theme for the next two school years is Global Citizenship: Litter and Waste. The children are busy maintaining the themes of our previous flagswhich were litter and waste, energy, water, transport and biodiversity. Environmentally friendly classrooms receive green stars when they make a special effort. When a class receives 5 green stars they get a prize. The green schools committee have been selected for this school year and they are busy monitoring and promoting our Green school theme throughout the school.
