Natasha Kalvis visited Saint Declan’s during the week to deliver an Eco Workshop. The theme of the workshop was Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Junior Classes discussed recycling, played the recycling game and made their own heat energy by rubbing their hands together.

Senior classes discussed food miles and the importance of buying local produce. They also examined up-cycled materials such as a belt made from a tyre and a bracelet made from a fork.
