Congratulations to Ava Mc Gillivray Room 2 who came first in the Credit Union art competition. Ava’s picture will now progress to the regional level of the competition. Well done to Grace Scanlon Room 2 who came second. This year the theme was The Walk of Life.

The Walk of Life theme encourages children to draw inspiration from the positive changes they see in the local community, or in wider society. The children could also depict the positive changes they have experienced in their own lives..They had full artistic freedom to express their thoughts, opinions, visions and hopes on the theme. 
 
Caroline from the Credit Union in Ashbourne visited St.Declan’s today to present the girls with their certificates and prizes. Thank you to Ms Coote for organising the competition.
