Corfheile is a voluntary organisation that aims to provide an opportunity for primary school children to perform in a non-competitive music festival. The children that participate do so for the enjoyment of singing and the love of playing music, which helps promote confidence and a feeling of self-esteem. This year we had 69 children from our 5 classes performing in Corfheile. It took place in the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght last Friday the 8th of March during the school day. Thank you to Mr Mc Keown, Mrs O’Rourke,Ms Geoghegan and Mr Kearins for preparing the children for this event and for accompanying them on the day. Also thank you to Ms King for conducting the children throughout their performance. The standard of singing was fantastic with beatiful clear notes and wonderful dynamics. Well done to all the children and teachers involved for their deication to the task.Thank you to all the parents that came along to support them.
