Congratulations to our 74 boys and girls from St. Declan’s who made their Confirmation last Saturday the 18^th of May. The ceremony went very well and all the children enjoyed a very special day. Bishop Deenihan and Bishop Smith confirmed the children with the help of Father Derek and Father Ciaran.Thank you to the class teachers Ms O’Connor, Mr Farrell and Mr Lydon for their time and commitment throughout the year preparing the children. They prepared some lovely artwork for the church and the school.

 

Also thanks to the choir under the direction of Ms King and accompanied by Mrs O’Rourke and  Mr Mc Keown.  They gave a fantastic performance.

Well done to our altar servers Ruby, Eleanor, Aine and Sophie who helped with the ceremony. A final thanks goes to the Parents Association for providing refreshments for all families after mass up at the school. We hope all the children enjoyed their special day.
