The children in our four 5th classes are part of our school choir under the direction of Mr McKeown and Mrs O’ Rourke. The choir has been very busy for the month of December. Last Friday the 16th of December they sang in the High Street Ashbourne outside Insomnia/Tesco. They put on a great performance and put all the Christmas shoppers in the festive spirit. A very special thank you to Andrei and staff from Insomnia who provided hot chocolate for all the children and coffee for the teachers. They also performed for the parents in the PE hall on Tuesday 20th December. We hope the parents enjoyed it. This morning they sang outside to help collect money for St. Vincent de Paul.
