Chickens in Room 27
There was great excitement in Mr Mulroe’s Junior Infants, Room 27 when teacher brought in an incubator with eggs in it. The children had been learning about the life cycle of the chicken. There was great anticipation as the children waited patiently for the chicks to appear. Eventually six chickens were born and lots of children got to visit Mr Mulroe’s class. The chicks went on tour to the PE Hall for all classes to view before they left to go to Newgrange Farm in Slane, Co. Meath where they are going to live. Thank you to Mr Mulroe for organising the chicks for our school. We all loved it and we hope the chicks have a great time with their friends on the farm.
