CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK 2024
This week celebrates the gift of Catholic Schools and of Catholic Education. During this week, our pupils, staff, parents, grandparents and our entire school community will show, in lots of different ways, that we are proud of our Catholic school. The theme for Catholic Schools Week 2024 is Service in our Community.
On Monday the 22nd of January our diocesan advisors visiting our school to link in with all classes. On Tuesday the 23rd of January our three 5th classes are joining the other 5th classes from Gaelscoil na Cille and St. Mary’s NS for a pilgrim walk to all three schools.
On Wednesday the 24th of January our four 6th classes will be going to the church to celebrate mass with Father Michael. Parents can join us in the church or via the church webcam @ 10am https://www.ashbourneparish.ie/news/contact/. Wednesday is also Grandparents Day.
We hope Father Stephan will join us in St. Declan’s for a prayer service during the week to celebrate Catholic Schools Week.
All classes will be doing different activities with their teachers during the week. We look forward to celebrating Catholic Schools Week together in our school community.
