In 5th and 6th class we were kept very busy for book week. We wrote our own children’s stories, drew pictures and made our own books. We then read them to Mrs Roger’s senior infants. We also wrote Halloween stories based on a short video called ‘Alma’, made our own comics on the iPads and we read our library books and novel ‘Alone on a Wide, Wide Sea’. Fr. Michael came in and read us a chapter from Toms Midnight Garden. We dressed up for Halloween on Friday as well! It was loads of fun.
