Congratulations and well done to the athletes from 4th, 5th and 6th class who represented St. Declan’s National School in the Track and Field Championships at Claremont Stadium, Navan on Thursday the 15th of June. 

The athletics team showed great enthusiasm and sportsmanship on Thursday the 15th of June 2023. 

Well done in particular to Erin Poole in 4th class room 10. Erin placed 3rd in the under 10 ball throw event and received a bronze medal. Well done also to Patrick Toth, Elijah Treacy-Khumalo, Ava McMahon and Lucas Petcovschi, who made it into the qualifier round of the sprints after placing 1st/2nd in their heat. Thank you to the coaches Ms. Collins and Ms. O’Beirne for training and preparing the team for the event.
