The boys and girls in Room 12 have been very busy over the past few weeks, creating lots of amazing art pieces.

Mondrian Squares

They were inspired by Piet Mondrian’s work and they made these gorgeous Mondrian squares which they are now using at home as coasters.

Block Print Paintings

The children were inspired by Paul Klee and they used his block printing technique to paint their own buildings. They made houses, churches and hotels.

 

Clay House Pendants

They were exploring the theme of houses and homes and these little clay charms reflected the topic really well! The boys and girls made sure that their clay was cut from one big piece to avoid pieces breaking off when they dried.

Clay Fairy Toadstools

They worked with clay to make these gorgeous toadstools that the children will use at home for the tooth fairy.
