Hope everybody enjoyed the Summer holidays! Back to school and sixth class have started off the year working very hard. During the week the boys and girls did some wonderful procedural writing on ‘My favourite breakfast’. I got some great tips from cooking pancakes, to waffles, to a healthy fruit salad. Well done everybody.

The boys and girls explored the school wildlife garden on Friday. We were actually on the hunt for butterflies but managed to pick some juicy blackberries and pears from the garden. we were looking at various types of butterflies in class so hopefully the children will be able to name them as they see them. We also took a closer look at the wasp and the children found out some very interesting facts and created excellent fact files which are now on display in the classroom.

The children were also very creative in their artwork. Check out their line and pattern work.
