Bhí oscailt oifigiúil Seachtain na Gaeilge againn sa scoil inniu. Beidh an féile ar siúl I rith na seachtaine seo chuighainn sa scoil. Is féile idirnáisiúnta í Seachtain na Gaeilge a chuireann úsáid na Gaeilge agus an cultúr Gaelach chun cinn in Éirinn agus thar lear .Tugann an Féile seans do gach uile duine spraoi a bheith acu leis an nGaeilge idir chainteoirí dúchais nó lucht an chúpla focal ar aon.
Beidh a lán imeachtaí ar siúl don fhéile I rith na seachtaine.
Beidh comortas postaer, cic/toss fada sa chlós, ceolchoirm sa halla agus boird fógraí maisithe faoi théama gaelach.
Is í mana oifigiúil na Gaeilge ná ‘Croí na Teanga’ it’s You!!!
Cuirfimid críoch ar an bhféile leis an Lá Glas. Beidh seans do gach dálta bheith ghléasta in éadaí glas agus siúl sa pharáid.
Mar sin dean iarracht níos mó gaeilge a labhairt agus a úsáid sa bhaile, sa seomra ranga, sa chlós, ag caint le do chara, ag caint leis an múinteoir.

Seachtain na Gaeilge is now officially opened in the school. The festival will be running in the school during the next week. Seachtain na Gaeilge is an international Irish language festival promoting the use of the Irish language and culture both at home and abroad. The festival gives everyone a chance to enjoy the Irish language be they native Irish speakers or those with only a few words.
There will be lots of activities in the school during the week.
There will be poster competitions, cic/toss fada, concerts in the hall and all notice boards decorated with an Irish theme.
The official motto of the festival is ‘The Heart of the Language is You’.
We will end the festival with our Lá Glas when all the students will get the opportunity to dress up in the Green and take part in the school parade.
So, make the effort to speak more Irish at home, in the classroom, in the yard, speaking to friends, speaking to teacher.
IRISH IS FOR EVERYONE. SEACHTAIN NA GAEILGE IS FOR EVERYONE.
