CPR Training (5th class)
Abbie, Sarah, Sean and Daniel from Transition Year in Ashbourne Community School.
Today the three 5th classes were treated to some CPR Training from four TY students as part of their TY project. The students came up with the plan as a way of making a difference for the lives in their community. Children learned about what CPR is, when to use it and how to use it following the CPR rapid action plan “DRSABCD” (Danger, Response, Send, Airways, Breathing, Compressions and Defibrillator) Here are photos of Ms. O’Halloran’s class learning how to give chest compressions correctly.
